Personal Reflections:

GITA 1 is a competency course to prepare students with the entry-level technical skills necessary as a computer programmer. This first-year academy elective course taught using Visual Studio.Net is designed for students interested in creating dynamic software applications. C# programming is a basic object- oriented programming environment that includes many of the elements of the C++ and Java languages and is used to create interactive, business orientated graphical user interfaces (GUI). In GITA 2, students learn how to apply skills learned last year, in a new language: HTML and Javascript.

Future Aspirations:

My future educational goals are to go to UCLA and study either Marketing or Law as a major and Film as a minor. I hope to be a professional Writer/Director for major motion pictures

AP Classes:

My current AP Classes are:
- AP Computer Science Principles
- AP Seminar
- AP European History
- AP Precalculus

GITA Program:

"The Global I.T. Academy fosters an environment that both empowers and challenges students to apply their critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve real world, technology issues. The Global I.T. Academy opens its doors for industry experts to visit our program and help students make the connection between what they are learning and real world application. The Global I.T. Academy is a well-rounded three-dimensional program which holistically addresses the needs and growth of the Global I.T. Academy participant with input from higher education, business, and community." - Brea Olinda High School

Activites:

I have recently started the NHD Club. I am a part of the United Choirs of Brea (Masquerade). I volunteer through the Student Advisory Board, meaning I have done trash clean ups, ushering for Curtis Theater shows, and face painting at movies under the stars.
